Our 100% Shea Butter is unrefined as no chemical process is taken.
Typical extraction, refining, includes bleaching and deodorizing with crude oil which pollutes the ingredient itself, often with the very caustic chemical- hexane. We do none of these, however it is purified to remove dirt and shells before arriving in Manosque.
